here goes nothing. i'm off to washington d.c. today, and dublin tomorrow night. seems like i have been planning this for a year... oh, right. i have been planning it for a year.
it's 5:45 am and rural new mexico is silent, for the moment. i'm trying to savour the last few minutes of dry mountain air before making a new start in the wet, coldness of ireland. i just checked the weather forecast and it's 60 degrees in dublin. perfect.
time to sign off, shower, load the car and head to the airport. there are not many things i will miss about this place - mostly people.
and you, you know i will miss you the most.
